ATTASUB (Analytical Tools and Technical Assessment for Large-Scale Seismic Upgrade of Bridges) is a PRIN 2022–2025 research project funded by the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR) that develops optimal solutions for the seismic retrofitting of existing highway bridges. It combines advanced dynamic modelling of seismically isolated bridges with supplemental energy-dissipation strategies and decision-making design tools to control seismic vibrations effectively.

FREISUST (Fiber-Reinforced Elastomeric Isolators for seismic resilient structures with SUSTainable Solutions) is an ERIES-funded experimental programme that evaluates full-scale, low-cost unbonded fiber-reinforced elastomeric isolators (UFEI) for seismic protection of low-rise structures, investigating both virgin and recycled rubber materials in collaboration with UNINA, UCB, NTUA, ETH and other European partners.
